Fairfield County Indivisible
Fairfield County Indivisible is a grassroots, nonpartisan group of local residents committed to defending democracy, advancing progressive values, and ensuring a more just, equitable, and inclusive society for all. We are part of the nationwide Indivisible movement, built by and for everyday people determined to hold our elected officials accountable and to push for a government that works for everyone—not just the wealthy and well-connected.
Who We Are
We are your neighbors—teachers, students, parents, professionals, retirees—united by a shared commitment to civic engagement and collective action. Founded in response to growing threats to our democratic institutions, our chapter works to empower the residents of Fairfield County to get involved in local, state, and national politics in meaningful ways.
What We Do
- Engage the Community: We host town halls, educational events, and discussion groups to raise awareness and build a strong, informed local base.
- Take Action: We organize phone banks, rallies, protests, and letter-writing campaigns to advocate for progressive policies and to resist harmful legislation.
- Support Local Leadership: We work to identify and support progressive candidates at all levels of government, especially those who reflect the diversity and values of our community.
- Build Coalitions: We partner with other grassroots organizations across Fairfield County and Ohio to amplify our collective voice and impact.
